80 years after the war, a story of memory drawn by Shinsaku Nagata. The picture book “Red Day” is published by Shinsaku Nagata, a picture book writer from Hiroshima Prefecture. This work, which is based on the theme of “war”, is a picture book, but it is also a message that connects memories and questions to the future.
In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, ONOMICHI U2 will hold a picture book sale and picture book-themed artwork, starting with “Red Day” as a place of expression where art, words, and memory intersect.
■Date: August 12th to September 7th, 2025, 10:00 to 18:00 (open every day)
